from start to finish
Here is a summary of what you can expect
When you first contact me, I will gather some basic info regarding the project: the scope of the job, your location, and your preferred timeline. Then we will schedule a time for me to see the property in person. If an in-person meeting isn’t practical, you can text or email pictures of the areas. I’ll follow up with any questions. When your Very Free™ quote is ready, you’ll receive an email or text with a link to access the estimate online.

After you have reviewed the quote, feel free to ask any questions you may have. If all is well, then you can accept the quote by digitally signing at the bottom of the document. At this point I will contact you to schedule the job for a time that makes sense for both our calendars.
I appreciate receiving your deposit prior to the job, but no later than the first day of work.
Before the start of the job I will gather necessary supplies including paint required. On arrival at your home, I will review the project with you and discuss any changes, additions, or concerns. Then the work begins! Your floors and belongings will be protected with dropcloths and plastic sheeting as needed. My preference is to clear the area of whatever can be moved easily. Larger furniture can stay; I will slide it out of the way if necessary. I typically work 9am to 5pm with a lunch break around 1pm. At the end of each day I’ll let you know what progress was made and what to expect for the next day. As the end of the job approaches, I’ll give you my best guess of when everything will be finished. Depending on the dryness level of the surfaces, it may or may not be appropriate to reinstall any faceplates or decor.
When all painting is complete, I clean up paint supplies and leave leftover paint with you for touchups or other projects you may have. When final payment is collected, you will receive an email receipt that shows the job as paid in full.
